Turn a week of customer feedback into themes, counts and quotes

Mitra reads every Intercom conversation and Typeform response from the past week, groups the requests into themes, and gives each theme a count and one customer quote. The summary lands in Notion every Friday. Any theme mentioned more than five times also opens a Linear issue.

The prompt
Every Friday, read this week's Intercom conversations and Typeform responses. Group what customers asked for into themes, and give each theme a count and one quote. Write the summary to Notion, and open a Linear issue for any theme mentioned more than five times.

What the agent actually does.

  1. Read the week's conversations

The agent pulls every Intercom conversation from the past seven days — including the ones nobody tagged, which is usually where the surprises are.

  2. Add the survey responses

Typeform answers join the same pile, so what people typed into a survey is read alongside what they said in a chat, not in a separate sitting three weeks later.

  3. Group the asks into themes

The agent sorts what customers asked for into themes, counts how often each one came up, and keeps one quote per theme in the customer's own words.

  4. Write the summary to Notion

Each theme lands with its count and its quote, on a page you can read before planning or hand straight to the engineer who asked what users want.

  5. Open an issue for the loud ones

Any theme mentioned more than five times gets a Linear issue, so a pattern that crossed the line becomes work instead of waiting for somebody to notice it.

Make it yours.

Product managers on teams where nobody owns feedback triage and the volume has stopped being readable in one sitting. Support leads, founders and designers use the same agent — anyone who has to say what customers are actually asking for, with evidence. Change any of this by saying so — there is nothing to rewire.

  • Run the agent on Monday morning instead, so the week's themes are on the table before planning starts.
  • Add Zendesk tickets, app store reviews or a sales call notes database to the same read, and keep one list of themes across all of them.
  • Drop the Linear step and post the top three themes to a Slack channel, with the counts, for teams that triage by conversation.

Questions, answered.

How does Mitra decide what counts as a theme?
Mitra groups feedback by what the customer was asking for, reading the words in each conversation rather than matching a fixed tag list. Every theme carries a count and one quote, so you can check the grouping yourself. Tell Mitra which themes you care about and the next run uses your names.
Can I change the number of mentions that opens an issue?
Yes — the mention threshold is one line in the agent's instructions, so tell Mitra to change five to two or twenty. Mitra rewrites the instructions, and the next Friday run uses the new number. Nothing else about the agent changes: same apps, same schedule.

Hand over the work you keep repeating.
